April 4th-5th, the very first New England Premier Event took place at the Big E. UConn FIRST volunteered at the event by serving as querers, judges, referees, and as a judge advisor. We hope that this is the start of a long tradition of NEPE.

April 2nd-5th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the NE District Championship. We served as referees, judges, and in other roles at the event. Congrats to all the teams that qualified for World Championship in Texas.

Aerospace Adventure FLL Explore Festival
On March 29th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the Aerospace Adventure FLL Explore Festival. Members served as mentors to the various FLL Explore teams at the event and as reviewers.

March 28th-30th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the Hartford FRC District Event. They served as referees, querers, field resetters, and judges.

March 14th-16th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the WNE FRC District Event. They served as a scorekeeper and as a judge.
University of Rhode Island (URI) District Event

March 13th-15th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the URI FRC District Event. Members of the clubs served as referees, robot inspectors, and mentors for teams competing.

March 7th-9th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the Waterbury FRC District Event. Members of the club served as referees, scorekeepers, and in other event roles.
CT FTC State Championship
CT FTC State Championship
On February 22nd, UConn FIRST helped run the CT FTC State Championship, presented by the UConn-URI Navy Steam Coalition. This was the second year this event was hosted at UConn. Congrats to the winning alliance and all the teams that won awards.

On February 8th, UConn FIRST volunteered at the Windsor FTC Qualifier. Members of the club served as judges, referees, and as querers.

On February 1st, UConn FIRST volunteered at the Aerospace FTC Qualifier. Members of the club mainly served as judges and referees for the event.

Tolland County Robotics Rumble
On January 25th, UConn FIRST volunteered at the Tolland County Robotics Rumble at joint FTC Qualifier and FLL Challenge Off-Season event. Members of the club served in various roles across the two events including as judges, referees, and as querers. Congrats to Alron D'Mello for winning the Mentor Award for his work mentoring FLL Teams.

On January 11th, members of UConn FIRST volunteered at the Wolcott FTC Qualifier. Members of the club served as judges, a head referee, and the judge advisor for the event.
FIRST University Day
FIRST University Day
On December 7th, UConn FIRST hosted FIRST University Day. The event featured 12 presentation topics, from various members of the NE FIRST community. It also featured a club fair/poster demonstration, two alumni panels, and tours of the UConn Storrs campus.

On December 14th, members of UConn FIRST served as mentors for 3 FLL Teams. Our club Vice President, Amanda B., also received the Volunteer Award at the event. It was a great way to wrap up the FLL challenge season

On November 16th, members of UConn FIRST served as mentors for 3 FLL teams. We also volunteered as a field supervisor at the Farmington FLL Challenge Qualifier.

FLL Challenge Scrimmage
On November 2nd, UConn FIRST hosted an FLL Challenge Scrimmage in McHugh Hall, allowing teams to gain experience competing and judging before the official competition season began. 16 local FLL Teams attended the event.
